We absolutely loved this hotel on the canal; we stayed 3 nights. The room was perfect and just a short walk from the train station. The outdoor restaurant was so beautiful with the flowers and was right on the water. It really was perfect for our first visit to Venice. Perfect for walks and shopping. Plenty of shops and outdoor restaurants to choose from. Would stay here again. I enjoyed opening the windows and watching the canal boats come and go it was a dream. The food and staff were excellent!

Room smell was musty, and the layout of the hotel was like a maze, very nice and helpful staff, and breakfast was good too but i wouldn't call it 4 star because of the rooms. The water would also stop in the middle of brushing your teeth or washing your face. There were also a lot of dead squashed flies on the walls.
