We had an excellent stay at Al Portico in Venice. The location is perfect, close to the train station and within walking distance of Venice’s main attractions, while still being in a quiet and charming area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. A special thank you to Nicola, whose outstanding hospitality made our stay truly memorable. From check-in to departure, he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, always ready with recommendations and assistance. His professionalism and genuine care for guests made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The space was very clean and comfortable. The room has a fridege, ketyle and coffee maker. Bathroom is a little on the small side. Only thjng kissjng was an iron. About a 1 minute walk from water transportation and close to lists of restaurant and shops. I didnt have much jntercation to hotel staff except on checking in and out.

My room at Portico was spacious, clean and had plenty of storage. My room was lovely to come back to. I wouldn’t say the amenities were stellar but sufficed. It was very quiet. I heard no street noise at all. Nicola, the manger was a saving grace during my stay. He went above & beyond to make my stay special. He is worth his weight in gold and should be treated like a king by whomever the owner is. He was articulate, made calls for me, helped me with directions, and overall made my stay what it was! It’s a fabulous location, very close to a Water Bus station and 50 yds to the main walking street. I would recommend this place

Nice & clean facility. Room & bathroom are actually more spacious in person than in photos. Would stay here again but it’s location is a littler further out if you plan to walk to attractions in San Marco. Very friendly staff!

The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. Very friendly reception, nice and clean room, this was a great choice and would highly recommend. No elevator but it was no big deal for us to simply carry our luggage up the stairs. It was also in a nice area and convenient to the local area. Great experience, we would stay there again!

Beutifull hotel great Location

It was the most beautiful hotel in Italy, my host was Nicola 😊🇮🇹 who took the timecto explain everything and gave a warm welcoming, made me feel safe and like home. The room was gorgeous, even more beutiful than the pictures onvthe Website. The olny thing i didn’t like was my next door neighbor at the hotel, i was sick and she was ver rude to me because I was coughing. Nicola made all the difference and made my trip to Venice a beautiful experience!!! For sure i'll try to come back here!
