Happy Family, Happy Life

We had a seven day trip to Venice and stayed in a different hotel each night, this was my son‘s favorite. I agree, this was a fantastic location and beautiful accommodations. My favorite part about this location was the organic CSA right around the corner to get some fresh fruit and vegetables to counter eating out so much. Picture of hours for the CSA a block away. Called Farm.

Shower leaked, duck tape on tub, bathroom door wouldn’t close, air conditioning leaking, TV was a computer size monitor. Cigarette but left on floor when we returned to our room. Wall paint had scuff marks all over, bed mattresses hard.

Pros- it’s walkable to main attractions. 15 mins walk at most Cons- the property is not as per advertised. The photos looked so different than the actual property. There was barely any amenities. So bring your own shampoo and soaps. The breakfast was horrendous. So skip it. Not worth the money. Lots and lots of mosquitos in the room.

Well that was regrettable. I jus dropped the best part of £1,000 on a supposedly luxury week's stay in Venice and EVERYTHING went wrong. I alighted at the airport and boarded the water bus - so far so good. But then things went awry. Following the directions stipulated by the hotel, I was soon lost. Getting dark, I was adopted by some good samaritans, who had never heard of the hotel. After 5 hours of slogging all over Venice, I found my way - finally - to the hotel, basically a door in the wall in a back alley with a small sign. I wondered in and found the reception, unmanned, with my key waiting and a letter saying welcome. OK, odd, but, what the hey. Problem - where is my room? Turns out I was in an annex, separate from the main hotel. Again, no biggie, just strange. Got access to my room and my spirits fell. Talk about basic. I had two rooms - a living room and a bedroom. The living room sported a table and chairs, all garden furniture. There was a sink, a hob (grimy, missing hob caps), some cabinets (filthy) and a black sofa that ate you. One very small window and cruddy lighting, with the bulbs hanging loose from the ceiling. I'm sorry, it was disgusting. Contained a toilet unit with doors that didn't close properly. Enter the bedroom. One double bed, one single. I accidentally bashed the single with my shin, and it collapsed. Weird right? Three lights - a neon wall light and two bed lamps, one bust. Beds had the most Godawful mattresses, hard as bricks. Single shee

Hotellet var forholdsvis rent og vi fik lov til at få vores værelse tideligt. Dog var badekarret utæt så der var en del vand på gulvet efter hvert bad. Derudover var morgenmaden ret så skuffende

Hotel is a jewel that’s hard to find, but once there great location. Property runs pretty much staff less. Bathroom extremely small with no space to put toiletries. Miniature shower with half door (flooded ) Overall would return.

I wouldn’t recommend. I was in a dark room, no windows. Room was extremely dated and looked worse in person. I did not sleep under the covers. I slept on towels because that felt cleaner. Maybe the other rooms are nicer, #7 was not.

Don’t waste your time

Tiny room. A/C did not work. We slept with the windows open which let mosquitoes in. I don’t know what pictures they used on the internet because it was nothing like the photos whatsoever. There were stairs to the bathroom so getting up in the middle of the night was extremely dangerous. Thank goodness we checked in at 5pm and left at 7am the next morning so we weren’t even there 24 hours.

The location is good. The room was clean but a bit odd over 2 floors. The reception team were very helpful. Breakfast was disappointing in terms of lack of options and quantity. Overall the room was clean and functional.

The place is difficult to find and far from St Mark square. From the airport needed bus and boat transport to the hotel. The hotel is not up to my expectations. No hot water. To be fair, the person in the reception area is very friendly, polite and accommodating to to our needs.

Difícil encontrar el hotel, está en un callejón feo para llegar. Pudimos hacer el checking porque llegamos antes de las 15 hs luego no hay nadie. Escuchamos gritos de una persona porque no le habían dejado la llave. Da un poco de miedo el lugar. No queda cómodo. Nos cambiamos de hotel
