We had a wonderful vacation stay in Wayanad with my family. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff took very good care of my family throughout our stay. Everything was well arranged, making it a truly relaxing and perfect holiday. The peaceful surroundings and warm service made our trip memorable. Highly recommended for a family getaway.

Had a wonderul stay with family. My kid enjoyed the amenities around. We arrived early, but staff was very welcoming and provided us a early check in. Special mention to Sarath & Vijay, who made the welcoming special and helping with pool facilities. Place has a fantastic view of Banasura Sagar dam. Jogging track is also available near the shores of dam. Food was good, special thanks for chef for accomodating our requests. Overall nice resort, we enjoyed the stay.

The property was very premium. Taj hospitality was at its best. We had booked Garden view cottage. The room was amazing and food was also great. The only negative was that the swimming pool was not temperature controlled. But apart from that everything was amazing

Our stay at The Taj Hotel in Wayanad was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Wayanad’s lush green hills, the hotel offers an unparalleled sense of tranquility. The serene surroundings, with their breathtaking views and peaceful ambiance, made it the perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. The food was an absolute highlight of our visit. From sumptuous local delicacies to international cuisine, every meal was a feast for the senses. The location of the property was amazing. However, the resort lacked activities for the price they were charging. High-tea was not part of the package, which was later included upon insisting. They should have managed to get permission for boating in the lake, that would have been amazing. Food was average, did not feel Taj class! there is scope for improvement in quality and quantity. Spa was excellent.

The property is beautiful and service is excellent. Rooms are spacious and staff is courteous! Hotels offers a breakfast + dinner option which I booked. The dinner spread is terrible with no starters and cold food with few options, They serve dinner with a mentality as they are doing a favor. It is the worst among all other Taj properites. Better to order from the menu. Discourage selecting this option while booking rooms. It would be better if they offer only breakfast with rooms so they are not stingy when it comes to dinner buffet.

The Taj in Wayanad is probably the best resort we’ve stayed at in Kerala. It’s a great location on the Banasura Lake, and serves as a good home base for other locations in the district, including waterfalls and wildlife reserves. The food was spectacular, especially the buffet in the mornings. The traditional Kerala dishes like appam and dosa at the live counter never disappointed. The live flutist who always played added a fantastic ambience. The bar on the third floor has the most fantastic views and really good cocktails. Try their version of an espresso martini. The views of the sunset from their balcony were a highlight (see photo). The amenities like the infinity pool and the gym looked at beautiful views of the lake and we used both quite a bit. We didn’t try the spa because we just came from another location where we did. The price tag seemed a bit steep even by non-Indian standards. The best part of our stay was the wonderful service and hospitality. Special shout out to the F&B manager Shinoy and the pool manager, Harikrishnan. They made our stay really memorable. It always makes us think that the service at the Taj is better than western counterparts like The Four Seasons. We definitely recommend this location and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
