The property is a converted castle and estate. My room was in a converted bathhouse near the lake called Bygghus. My widows faced a public trail and a coffee house outdoor seating area. Unfortunately that means a lot of people could look into my room so in bright daylight I had all blinds drawn and the lights on. I was just staying one night and moving on the so the room was adequate. One other strange occurrence was the bathroom motion sensing light. To turn off you click the light switch but it kept coming on during the night even after I closed the door and the light was off. Somehow later it went on again. If you want to “stay in the castle feeling” be sure to select the appropriate castle rooms. I did have breakfast in the castle and the dining rooms have an exceptional ambiance. However the quality and selection for breakfast does not compare well to other hotels on my trip. Staff are friendly but service does not stand out.

Incredible place with amazing food. Beware when you book, some rooms have shared bathroom. It’s not really ideal but they have rooms with private bathrooms. The location it’s amazing and so is everything else.

Teleborg Slott is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location. The castle has an interesting history and the rooms are very comfortable. The service provided by the staff was excellent. We tried the 4 course tasting menu in the restaurant for dinner and the food was exceptional. They also had a great breakfast selection. I highly recommend staying here.

I was rather under the impression I was booking a room in the castle itself, but we were housed in an annex a 2 or so minute drive away. The room was nice enough, but I feel the advertising was misleading.

The castle is a beautiful building. It’s just not for long stays. I recommend anyone wanting to stay for 1-2 nights to try it. The breakfast is great (even though early. Stops at 9 on weekdays) and if you have dinner it’s delicious food. If your plan is to stay for longer than 3 nights I recommend looking somewhere else the room without bathrooms become uncomfortable and the ones that have a bathroom built in their showers are not comfortable.

The booking created the expectation in lack of any information, that we would stay in the castle. However at arrival we were pointed to another building, 300 mtr, square brick building with low quality room, broken toilet seating, thin walls, the stay was a disappointment
