Unbelievably Great Renovation of a Power Plant

The Steam Hotel is unbelievable. I did not expect such a great facility. We were in Vasteras to visit our son who is studying there, and I booked this hotel with my fingers crossed. Staying at the Steam Hotel was a great experience and if our son stays in Vasteras we will stay there again.

Super schick und die Zimmer waren sehr stilecht. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: es gibt vom Hotel aus keine eigenen kostenfreien Parkplätzen.

Hemskt störande ljud från en av de få hissar som finns på anläggningen. Personal glömde vår beställning i en av restaurangerna så vi fick vänta över 20 minuter på en liten fisktaco. Mycket fin frukost, oerhört trevlig personal vid in- och utcheckning. Vackra områden att promenera i. Vi återkommer gärna.

Otroligt häftigt hotell med en otrolig utsikt från rummet och 18:e våningen, tyvärr så var middagen mindre bra, färdigkryddade pommes frites som var alldeles för salta, rödvinsås som också var för salt och sedan en bearnaisesås som var kall ock också för salt, oxfilén skulle vara medium men var mer welldone. Annars bra frukost och härliga sängar.

Vi har bott på många hotell. Gillar att boka spontant. Två gånger har vi bokat på Steam och ingen av gångerna har vi lyckat få plats på Spa eller restaurang. Man bör ha framförhållning när man ska bo på Steam. Men fina rum, sköna sängar, trevlig personal. Vi hade också bokat med sjöutsikt, mycket trevligt. Incheckning kl16.00(lite sent), och utcheckning 11.00 (helt okej, men om man vill förlänga till 12.00 kostade det 295 kr!!). Sen var det lite kaos vid in-och utcheckning, fick ingen hiss. Fick ta trapporna ner 😅. Hög beläggning på detta hotell. Tänk på att förboka allt. Men väldigt fint hotell.
