My room on the 4th floor, especially the bathroom, was in urgent need of remodelling. The road leading to the hotel on top of a hill is full of bumps. The restaurant food was delicious but the chief waiter came along in an arrogant way. Breakfast servic was good.

Not exactly what we expected from an accomodation bearing the name grand hotel, meaning excellent service, prestine cuisine, small gestures. Among a list of issues for us, to name a few, the unfriendly service on the phone, the special set menu that simple was a choice of the a la carte, would not let us recommend this hotel. The view though is fabulous and the location is special, so if you only care about those two maybe this is for you nevertheless, just bear in mind you have to go by car or take a taxi.

We love the surroundings of the hotel and the Christmas decorations were awesome, creating the holiday vibes. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant served excellent food - breakfast and dinner. One thing that can be improved will be the condition of the hotel. Being an establishment with many years of history, the place do look dated and the room allocated to us had a broken toilet. The staff was kind enough to extend us another room beside so that we can access the toilet.
