Very clean and comfortable room with all the amenities. The included breakfast buffet was exceptional and we had a view to the lake from our table that we we will remember forever!! A free shuttle to and from the train station was an asset. Very friendly personnel. We ate at La visteria in the hotel and had the most wonderful culinary experience , michelin type experience, although not michelin starred or Bib awarded restaurant , certainly was at this level. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest hotels I think I’ve ever stayed at, and the staff went above and beyond to help. My husband left his sunglasses in the restaurant and while we were waiting for the ferry they actually sent them down with a shuttle for him, which was so helpful because we were going to Bellagio for a couple days. The pool is stunning. It was so nice. There’s very few places with pools there so it was great to sit out there in the afternoon. It was so hot. We didn’t eat there so I’m not sure about the food, but you couldn’t find a nicer hotel great location. You walk out the front door and there was restaurants and everything right there. I think you can actually go down to the water too it looks like they have a little beach out in front. We didn’t do that either but it looks like you could do that. I’d stay there if you could.

We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room upgrade. Every single staff member we encountered was wearing a smile; in fact, no matter who was at the front desk, they always remembered my name. As a traveler from Taiwan, I felt completely welcomed and experienced absolutely no discrimination whatsoever. It was such a touching and attentive touch for our honeymoon. The hotel boasts a breathtaking lake view, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery peacefully away from the crowded areas. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking to relax and have a wonderful experience in Lake Como.

This place is worth every penny. So convenient from the train station. Be sure to ask them for shuttle service. It’s free from the train station. Then you don’t have to carry your luggage for 15 mins up and down the cobbled streets. The property is the most gorgeous lakeside view. Everywhere you look it’s beautiful here. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I can’t recommend this place enough.
