Lovely place. Great room - amazing bed! Breakfast buffet nice - but the evening buffet was nothing special. Evening no 2 we tried the a la carte - also not anything special. Had a lovely afternoon at the spa - super nice!

Great location, disappointed of restaurant & bar

Lovely, resort like hotel by a fantastic beach. Many different outdoor areas for relaxing, and needless to say a spa. The restaurant unfortunately has room for improvement (quality of food), so I’d recommend going somewhere else for dinner. Service level in bars (menu options in- vs. outdoors and personnel) sub-standard.

Overall a nice stay

It was really nice, good service The room was a bit small and the ocean view was quite poor but besides that it was top. The initial luggage service to bring it to your room was not existing unfortunately… which is was quite disappointing as the room prices are quite steep. The double bed I ordered was 2x single bed merged as one… I can highly recommend to book extra the 3h spa! The restaurant menu is almost fish only and the waiters are very motivated especially the american guy plus the early breakfast is very good! Overall 4/5

Good weekend stay

Weekend trip to the hotel where we attended activities in Apelviken. Room and service was good. Ensure to book breakfast time-slot (at least ask if needed). The hotel have spa (extra cost as far as I understand).

Helg i Varberg

Appelviken låg bakom själva hotellet, inte långt att gå. Tråkig entré dock, kändes som en tom konferensbyggnad. Fint, rent rum som var perfekt i storlek. Stora, mjuka sängar. Saknade chromecast på rummet till tv:n och ett kylskåp. Frukosten var toppen och all restaurangpersonal var så trevliga (även de på kvällen!) Spa:t var fint men trångt inne vid poolerna. Kallbadhuset var det bästa med bastun! Dock behöver nog någon kolla till det lite mer eftersom många hotellgäster stökade ner med handdukar, fotsalt och glas. Tack för en fin helg!
