Hotell Gastis was so quirky with so many books and artefacts. Our room was very small but perfectly adequate. We hired bikes and visited a small nature reserve. We also went in the Leninbadet which was an amazing experience, even with the steam room not working. It was like going back in time and we loved it. There were major building works going on outside the hotel but we couldn’t hear anything even though our room overlooked them. The roof terrace was lovely and we sat there with a post dinner drink! Drinks were expensive and we didn’t eat there in the evening, but the breakfast was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Inget modernt hotell, och priset per natt Àr för dyrt för vad du fÄr. Vi kunde knappt sova dÄ ventilationen lÀt för mycket i rummet. Trodde först det var grannen som duscha..

A unique and fun hotel

Truly unique with 15000 books and a wellness section modeled after Lenin’s bathhouse
 quirky and charming, with uniquely designed rooms. We stayed in the Otto Torell-room which was huge. The somewhat worn standard is part of the charm and something to appreciate in this hotel. There’s also so much to look at with weird and curious details littered throughout. Staff was friendly but everything including the bar closed at around 10pm.

Grymt hotell. Vi hade till och med turen att bli uppgraderade under vÄran vistelse. Supertrevlig och mottagande personal, bra frukost och riktigt mÀktigt/ hÀftigt rum. Bra priser pÄ drinkar och öl. Ligger nÀra resecentrum och stadens centrum (ca 5 min till station och 2 till centrum). finns ocksÄ ett hÀftigt spa som kan vara vÀrt att besöka om man ÀndÄ ska dit :)

Vilken pÀrla!

Ett vÀldigt charmigt och annorlunda hotell. Incheckningsdisken var som ett bibliotek med böcker överallt. Vi hade rum i en separat fastighet med en egen "takvÄning" med uteplats. Underbar restaurang/bar/café med mysig innergÄrd alldeles intill - med charmerande personal som gav oövertrÀffad service. Supernöjda!

skulle egentligen hitta ett hotell i falkenberg för ett yogacenter men eftersom det var fullt överallt dÀr hittade vi GÀstis, och blev inte besvikna! LÀtt att Äka till Falkenberg. Hotellet var supermysigt, personligt, ombonat och sÄ bra service. vi fick personlig service pÄ det vi önskade av receptionen snabbt och enkelt. Bra frukost, och nÀra till (fri) parkering. Lite varmt pÄ rummen.

VÀldigt bra. Skall man gnÀlla pÄ nÄgot sÄ kunde dom haft lite kraftigare toalettpapper . Var sÄ tunt sÄ fingrarna lÀtt gick igenom. Sedan Àr fruktfatet vid frukosten pÄ tok för litet. Tog slut bara minutrarna efter man satt dit ett nytt. OjÀmn styrka pÄ kaffet. Ibland tunt som attan för att vid ett senare tillfÀlle dricka kaffe sÄ odrickbart starkt. HÀrlig takterrass och lÀget Àr perfekt. GÄngavstÄnd till allt. Som sagt var Àr vi mycket nöjda och kommer mest sannolikt att vÀlja detta hotell igen vid nÀsta besök i stan.

Bra lÀge nÀra till allt, sköna sÀngar och bra frukostbuffé dÀr inget saknades. Vi bodde i Villa GÀstis och det var en brant trappa upp till andra vÄningen och ingen hiss. Tycker inte om uppstoppade djur, framförallt mÄnga fÄglar, i frukostrummet - det Àr inte sÄ frÀscht och trevligt. Fick parkeringsböter utanför hotellet nÀr vi checkade in för vi hade ingen P-skiva. KÀnns inte sÄ vÀlkomnande, men förutom det sÄ Àr vi nöjda med vÄrt besök.
