Hosts were great! We had to check in late due to a long border crossing, and they were very understanding. They took extra effort to make arrangements so we didn't have to share a bathroom. The room is small but very nice and spotlessly clean.

Nice big house that's being converted to let out a few rooms. The house is beautiful, our room was beautiful though a bit smaller than we hoped. The only issue we have is that, since this is not a hotel, there's limited flexibility for check in and check out. This wasn't very clear when we booked on Expedia; in fact, I had chosen Expedia over AirBnB because I wanted the flexibility of being able to check in easily, as I wouldn't know for sure what time I'd get to the property. When we got to the front door on the day of check in, we had to ring the doorbell for 10 - 15 minutes before someone came to open, and by that time we were getting really worried that we'd be stranded in Vancouver without a place to stay. We later discovered that they had tried to get in touch with us, but getting in touch last minute with international guests is not always a good idea - we didn't have an internet connection on all the time; I didn't get a call from an unknown number but even if I did I might not have answered it because it would have cost me £1 (CAD 1.7) per minute. Everything was good once we got in - the host was welcoming, very well organised, helped us with everything we needed and provided great advice on visiting the city.

A gorgeous home in a nice section of Vancouver. Felt very safe walking the streets from bus stop on Main St. to the caretakers home. Very nice breakfast provided. I would recommend, definitely. Gita was a very nice host.

I had a very enjoyable time here. The location is as perfect for wandering around. Great local shops and restaurants were close by and easily accessible to the walk to. I was able to check in early and when I accidentally locked myself from my room I was able to quickly get ahold of the owner for help.
