Great location, short walk to rent a bike (English Bay bikes) to do the Stanley park loop. Highly recommend! Then bonus- short walk to ferry to Granville island. The apartment was super clean and it was so nice having so much space! Would stay here again. We also had a Toyota Tacoma and yes parking was tight but it worked!

The Sunset property and rooms made everything feel very secure and convenient, especially travelling alone with my two daughters (12 and 15). From the moment we arrived, the front staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us with directions, restaurant suggestions, and recommendations for exploring the area. One feature we especially appreciated was the luggage lockers available before check-in. We arrived early in the morning, safely stored our bags, and spent the entire afternoon enjoying the beach without having to worry about our belongings. The location truly could not be better. Everything is within a 15-minute walk or less — shops, pharmacies, restaurants, the beach, and local attractions. Once you arrive, you really don’t need a rental car to enjoy the area. We always felt safe walking around, even after dark when heading back from dinner or grabbing late-night treats. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The beds were especially cozy after long days out exploring. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, convenient, and genuinely welcoming place to stay.
