We enjoyed staying at the Kingston. The room was very comfortable with nice big chairs to lounge in and comfy beds. It was decorated in an Edwardian style which was fun and appropriate for the area. Easy walk to good places to eat and to transportation. Walk to Gas Town and the steam clock. Would gladly stay here again.

Dated and old, but the location can't be beat. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and safe. We were able to walk everywhere and the nearest train station was only a 2 minute walk away. The pub next door was excellent too and we got a discount while staying at the hotel.

Fantastic location, very clean room, very nice staff. Bathroom was very clean. Room was somewhat warm at night and we weren't able to adjust it, I think the hotel controls it. If we wanted to spend more money per night, I would have chosen a more modern hotel. For what it is, the Kingston is adequate and even somewhat charming since it is so old.
