The owner was so kind and very helpful with our accommodations. The room was clean and the view was wonderful. It was a short walking distance to restaurants, the harbor and the ferry. I would definitely go back and stay at the Horseshoe Bay Motel.

There was an outside seating area with turf on the ground and a swing and some comfy chairs. There was also a small gas heater outside that added some atmosphere and heat. It was a very enjoyable stay.

The staff is super helpful, friendly and quite an interesting person, we stayed one night, we arrived late, we got checked in and keys ready at the property when we arrived this place is well lovely ,and a cozy and cute motel with tastefully decorated reception area. Given the remoteness of the place, it was a great experience.

Comfy beds. Good lighting which you just don't seem to find in the new hotels/motels. Lovely deep tub. Nice and quiet. TV channels were a little sparse. Very dated but charming. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the sea view cottage - it was perfect for the two of us. Simple cottage with a great covered deck and sea/beach views. Very quiet and private - highly recommend if you want to be close to restaurants and trails but want to feel like you’re in a fairly remote area.

We went to a concert downtown and used Uber to get back to Horseshoe Bay Motel afterwards. When we got off the ferry that morning the hotel had our room ready early so we could drop off our luggage. Rooms are dated but extremely clean. Comfy beds.Staff was warm and inviting. No AC so she gave us an extra fan. Shower water pressure was unreal! And the price was right!! No downtown hotel came close. We will definitely be back.
