It was a fabulous stay! Pam and Randy we’re very attentive to all our needs. The room and common areas are really well equipped and it seems they thought of it all. The rooms are really comfortable and well insulated. Breakfast was great and so pleasant!

We had a beautiful big room and bathroom. Randy was very friendly and helpful but a bit of a chatterbox! I think they should switch the entry for the guests from the left side of the back entrance to the right side which is all paved and dry. The food was good. The “bottled water “ they serve from is not good! But I would definitely recommend Granville house if you have a car and can drive to the different attractions in Vancouver.

Thank you to Randy and Pam for such an amazing stay. It was centralized to the places we were looking to go and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Our room was a Junior room. Very clean, closet was a great size and bathroom was lovely. Bath tub was great. Bed was so comfortable. The house was beautiful and we got to meet some great people during our stay. If we ever get back to BC will definitely want to stay again!

What a wonderful place! It was very comfortable, with excellent amenities. The room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious! The host family are delightful, and very helpful with suggestions of local things to do. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive, or a longer walk if you’re able. The location is great for access to downtown, Kerrisdale, VGH, False Creek, Granville Island, and pretty much anywhere you want to go. We will definitely stay here again if we can.

The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available.

The home and owner, Randy, were welcoming with excellant communication and service. The room was tasteful with good space and comfortable , double sinks in the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and creative, with great company for conversation. I would only suggest the hosts check the room temp before arrival, as weather is now so variable. We had an accommodating stay.

This was a well-located haven for our Vancouver visit, close to town, transportation (if without a car), and friends/family. It was a welcome treat to have access to private parking and to have a separate entrance. Our ensuite room had everything we needed, including a wonderful bed/bedding. A note of welcome, and later, farewell, was a nice personal touch. Great breakfast, nice conversation with another guest and host, who was very welcoming and informative.
