Super cute place!! Only complaint is the mattresses on the bed and sofa bed aren’t the most comfortable , but loved the place overall! Will definitely book here again if we go to another concert.

Good area!

Location was great! Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The staff was kind and courteous. There were some issues with the maintainence of the room - trim that was peeling, shower door handle was hanging halfway off and the drawers and cabinets were in poor condition. The shower also felt pretty slippery to stand on and while I did not fall, I could see how someone might.

Newly renovated - but the host decorated with antique (1920's) furniture. Very pleasant. The rooms are located over a tavern, that served wonderful food.

Meh room but great location

They say this room sleeps 4 but the small pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable. The shower has no water pressure at all.

Very nice unit to stay overnight. Worked for my needs. Only complaint if I were to have one is couldn’t turn down air enough to get cold overnight. Otherwise it was good! But that is subjective to different people

Family visit to Valpo

This 2nd floor apartment was charming, but needs a few simple upgrades to make it bearable. A mattress pad would help the hard king bed tremendously. A box of tissues would have been nice. Maybe a small electric hot water pot for tea would do. Noone supplied us with the wifi password. We stayed 3 nights during which the restaurant below was closed. We would most likely pick an available modern hotel next time.

The staff at the check in were very helpful and friendly. The only 2 issues were the rock hard bed, and no tv service. The bed was acceptable, but quite uncomfortable. The tv had only 1 channel when we were actually able to even get it working. By the time we wanted to watch tv, the bar and restaurant were closed, so no staff were available. It’s a beautiful place, just needs a bit more attention in some areas.

I wanted to stay there because I was having dinner with friends that night at the Tavern downstairs. The suites are very old, and that was what I wanted to experience. The bathroom was clean, and the bed had clean sheets on it. The Keurig didn't work, and the TV would not change channels. I don't live in Northwest Indiana anymore, so when I go back, I like to watch Chicago TV stations while there. Those two malfunctions ruined my morning.
