Wonderfully renovated and spacious old mansion. All amenities, great food, hospitable host, easy parking. I chose it because it is just to the west of all D-day beaches, so this way we were able to visit them all from west to east. I only wish there was not so much pressure on getting to this mansion by 7:00PM, but we called in advance and were able to check in by 8:00PM.

This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. There was one on the website in the house but it must have been allocated, so we were given the delightful gite in the garden. Unfortunately the upstairs bathroom has a wonderful shower, but the only toilet is down some steep winding stairs. I wish I’d known this when booking.

Die Einweisung zum Zimmer war trotz und wegen der verspäteten Ankunft gut organisiert und kommuniziert. Das Zimmer war hervorragend, ebenso wie das Bad. Das ganze mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war den regionalen Gepflogenheiten entsprechend und sehr lecker Die weiteren Gasträume (Kaminzimmer und Bar) ließen sich gut nutzen. Der Gastgeber Eric) und seine Familie waren sehr authentisch, immer ansprechbar und gaben uns stets das Gefühl, sehr willkommen zu sein, seine Ausflugstips waren hervorragend.
