This sweet little boutique hotel within Old Town Valletta met our needs perfectly for three nights prior to boarding a cruise ship. They can arrange a shuttle from the airport for you so that door-to-door access is possible. Outstanding restaurant in-house (Risette). Great staff. We absolutely loved it.

Excellent central location. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights nearby. Room small and basic (to be expected in a small boutique hotel) but clean and well maintained. Had balcony which was nice, and gave additional space. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice.. However: my booked rooms roof was leaking. Second room#5 was the best. The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….

So nice, we stayed twice!

We loved this boutique hotel so much, we came back twice in the same month. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The rooms have a lot of character while also being quite comfortable. The included breakfast was also excellent and made to order. Our entire stay was cozy, relaxed, and we felt well cared for.

This is a small, centrally-located gem in the walled city of Valletta! My room featured creative details and a large bathroom, which more than made up for the interior view. The restaurant offers an ambitious (and delicious) dinner menu and an extensive breakfast. The most delightful aspect of the hotel: Alfredo, who went out of his way to help with my itinerary, free street parking, and even breakfast!

Nice and unique. Small 9 rooms hotel, yet run by a team that makes you feel the entire place is yours to relax in. Every room is special and more so are their guests. Breakfast was beautifully served personalised excellent quality. My room number 2 quiet and specious. Aside from that there are no additional amenities however, after a whole day of exploring and walking I needed a safe, quiet, clean and peaceful place to renovate for the next day!

It is a typical Maltese house which has been remodeled for a boutique hotel. Great job! Room was nice and full of space. It is in a great location for reaching walking any area of Valletta. And the ferry for Sliema. If you need to get a taxi or uber they can get to you on both corner of the street 1 min walking from your hotel. Breakfast is very good and open till 10.30 which is very nice if you sleep one morning longer. And the staff is just super: helpful, nice and caring. Lot’s of restaurants around it. We will be back.

Casa Elul Simply a wonderful experience. Despite my extremely late arrival, in the middle of the night, I received a warm welcome in this both cosy and extravagant hotel. It is undoubtedly the unexpected eclectic mixture of styles combined with the warm hospitality that changed this visit into something unforgettable. The spacious bedroom (announced as suite) is very tastefully equipped with all one needs for a short stay in the city. Free coffee, tea and water,combined with the luxurious bedding linen, great furniture and decoration, a well filled bar, a great and huge bathroom, all possible details... Perfect. The breakfast is à la carte and served by a staff that makes you feel welcome. Hard to beat! An unexpected experience for a very attractive price ! I really enjoyed my stay.

I definitely expected more from this hotel. Having stayed in other Small Luxury Hotels, this one was a disappointment. The location was great and The View off the balcony was fantastic. My check-in was great, but the next day the front desk person didn't really understand or speak English. When I asked if he could speak any other languages he said only English. He was kind, respectful, and tried to be as helpful as possible, but it was very frustrating trying to communicate. Finally, we left in a hurry and so I left behind an article of clothing. I called them up and told them what it was and where it was. There was no question in my mind whether or not I had left it and I told them exactly where I had left it. Nonetheless, despite multiple phone calls, I was told that I had left nothing behind and tough luck because housekeeping must be telling the truth. Shameful for such a hotel.

Casa Ellul is a small gem with an excellent restaurant. The chef was able to devise an outstanding dinner for us based on our vegan requirements. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, even coming around a tea time with treats. The location is in the historic part of Valleta but is still very quiet. Recent renovations have restored the character of the building with a modern touch.
