Vacations Close To Yosemite Valley

Hotel is very basic. Rooms are small, but thats old San Francisco for you. If you are use to something super classy, you are going to be disappointed. Our room was fine, our bedding had some stains and the bathroom linens were very poor quality, but it did the job. We spent very little time in the room. The location is great. This is literally on the corner of the Dragon Gate. Walking distance to virtually everything. If you plan on doing bus tours, you are right by Union Square where they start/stop. Lots of shopping and dining options around the hotel. Pier 39 and Oracle Park are a 35 min walk from the hotel through beautiful areas and points of interest.

We enjoyed the quiet and convenient location by Japantown. It was about a 10 minute walk. The hotel is very comfortable but the breakfast was not impressive compared to other similar hotels. It is an older hotel but exactly what you would expect for the price. Close to buses and train routes. Easy to get around. Air conditioning was weak but tolerable.
