I am an ambulatory wheelchair user and the hotel responded to my queries before the stay in a timely manner. We had a classic suite - it was very nice to have a proper sofa in the room and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the mini-kitchen facilities in the room as we ate breakfast on the terrace each morning but useful if you don't fancy going out.
Breakfast was very tasty - each morning there was a bowl of pastries, juice, yogurt and fruit and then we chose from a menu - can thoroughly recommend the scrambled egg. Our days were made even brighter by Avril - a lovely cheerful, helpful waitress, who by the end of the week was anticipating our requests before we even made them.
The pool is really just a little bigger than a hot tub, with jacuzzi bubbles and a fountain. I found it a little chilly (mid june) but it serves a purpose for cooling off and there are a few sunloungers to chill out on. We chose the hotel for its location - its not somewhere you would really go if you wanted to chill by the pool each day.
The location of the hotel is brilliant - in the Placa de la Reina - virtually next door to the cathedral. There are a number of restaurants in the square and the atmosphere was really good at night. very vibrant.
We ate regularly at Haus, and the Valencian Paella was delicious.
We used the metro to travel from the airport, and to the beaches nearby.
We had a fabulous holiday and would defiintely return to the same hotel if we visit again.
