Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Clean, comfortable and fantastic staff. Bar had a brilliant and calm vibe about it. I did not take the breakfast as I prefer visiting different (much cheaper) local coffee shops and bakeries for that. Would stay here again.

A lovely three night stay, pleasant and clean. Lovely helpful staff. Rooftop was a bonus and a quiet calm spa area. Good location and quiet during the night. Everything you need is around the property. The room was very intimate. Would highly recommend staying here.

We've stayed at other Axel hotels (San Sebastián, Madrid, Mykonos, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, ​​and Berlin). Valencia has personality and exceptional management and staff! The property is very nice, feels new, and clean. Good location. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that my room layout was strange such that the bathroom was huge but the bedroom was tiny. I had to put my suitcase on the floor in the bathroom because it was the only space for it - not a huge deal but worth mentioning. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Newish hotel is trying to create a cheeky, witty adult vibe but lots of details still left wanting. My room overlooked a noisy street and used lots of cheap materials that I suspect won’t hold up well over time. Bathroom shower was see through with no bathroom door, so not much privacy. AC was not working much to cool the room even turned up to the max. Hot tub is not actually hot, at best it’s lukewarm, and it’s very awkward getting in and out. Music in the gym was deafeningly loud even when I just tried to do some relaxing yoga at 10pm. Best part about the hotel is the price and the nice view from the rooftop mirador. Staff are nice aa well although they forgot to arrange my taxi the first time and I had to ask a second person to redo it. Stayed in 3 different hotels in Valencia over 8 nights and this was my least favorite of the bunch.

The staff was very friendly. They held our bags before and after our stay as well as called a taxi. The room was clean. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower was confusing and malfunctioning. It was too small to read the hot / cold. And it would change temperature throughout the shower. Also, the shower is a glass see through, this was uncomfortable with no personal privacy Phone plug ins would be ideal as well.

I was very disappointed. The reason for this is, that Axel Hotel standard rooms are not conform to my understanding of room standards. Spending 6 nights in the hotel we got a double room on 3rd floor without windows – only door to the terrace (no information on your website). Next to the room door was an 24h open door to the terrace. In addition, the air condition distributed a strong musty smell. Next day we got a double room on 5Th floor. Windows has view to the iron stairs to the roof top with frequently passing service staff or roof top visitors. I will no longer use Axel Hotel for private or business stays. In addition I will not follow special offer of ebookers to combine flight and hotel booking.

We booked what was advertised as a standard room, but upon arrival we were placed in an accessible room — without any prior notice or explanation. Unfortunately, the room was noticeably dirty, especially the floors. When we reported this, we were told that housekeeping had already left for the day, so nothing could be done. We were also not offered another room for the remaining nights. The accessible room itself was very different from what we expected when booking and did not match the description or the price point. It felt like we received a different category than the one we paid for. What made the experience worse was the lack of flexibility or willingness to help. Despite the situation and the condition of the room, we were not offered any meaningful compensation or refund. Overall, I would not have booked this hotel — especially at this price — if I had known this was what we would receive. I’m sharing this review so others are aware that issues like this may not be handled in the guest’s favor.
