Our screen door didn't close and the hotel could use some updates. I think it's a nice enough place to stay, but the rates were pretty high for something this dated at $240/night. Mind you, this was early July so maybe we were seeing "seasonably adjusted" rates.

This property is very run down. The room smelled mildewy and smoky and the room was not cleaned. Luckily the owner was able to move us to another motel across the highway - the Rocky Inn - which was much nicer. I would not recommend staying at the Yellowhead Motel but the Rocky Inn was good.

It is very old and could use a real good update. The price for the quality is very sad. Was not cheap and is very old. Could have stayed somewhere much nicer for very little more.

As reviews state very dated. Room was clean but smelled very strong of something - either deodorizer or cleaner. No airconditioning and we couldn’t sleep from the heat.

Some disappointments. Entrance unit most difficult for we oldsters. Exterior door is begging for restaining. Suggest grab in shower area. But did appreciate tub mat. Comfortable beds. No electrical outlets on 3 walls adjacent to bed. Extensive walls would benefit from several large prints.
