Awesome location - so good I went back twice on same trip. Stayed in two types of accommodation and both were outstanding. Great value and so close to everything. Restaurant quality is excellent, breakfast could maybe be a little more expansive. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, will be back

Great place to stay!

We had a truly memorable stay at Svinøya Rorbuer. The location is stunning — surrounded by dramatic Lofoten scenery and close to everything I wanted to explore. The rorbu (fisherman's cabin) was roomy, beautifully maintained, and offered a perfect mix of comfort and tradition. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere made me feel welcome and at ease from the moment I arrived. I particularly appreciated the quiet setting and the views across the water. The sauna and four dips into the Arctic waters were amazing! Thank you to the Svinøya team for a wonderful experience — I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lofoten Islands.

We used this place as a stopover on our way to Reine. It fulfilled that function. The cabin is designed more for a longer stay with a complete kitchen, dining area, etc. We had a view to the harbor which is not so picturesque (more industrial). But, all in all, a good stay.

The apartment was beautiful with gorgeous views of the harbor/area with vast ocean views as well. Dinner at their restaurant was outstanding, as was our server. We got to see the northern lights one night which made our day. The sauna was beautiful also, and right on the water to jump in for cold plunge. Constructive criticism: the young woman at the desk during our check in process was at times short, not as pleasant as she could have been. There should be napkins and/or paper towels with salt/pepper in the apartment - those small things really go a long way to giving a guest a more pleasant stay……

Not worth it if you can’t sleep comfortably

The cabin was lovely, scenery was picturesque, and check-in was a breeze… but these were the least pleasant nights of sleep I’ve had indoors in years. I get that Norway doesn’t normally need air conditioning, but global warming is real, the temps are only going to keep going up, and for these prices it’s not too much to expect the property to at least provide some fans.

Great stay!

Great place, super clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey but at the same time great options and good products. The bed was very comfy and not single beds, which seems hard to find. The sauna was also great, only bummer was the windows of the sauna were really dirty from people jumping and splashing the windows. So the view from the sauna wasn’t as we thought. But it did have warmed changing rooms and was a great experience. Def do dinner of breakfast even just to see the interior design of the dining room, beautiful.

Absolutey not worth the price. Overpriced for a modern cabin sold as a 'typical fishermen one'. Place was dusty everywhere, used, stained and dirty furniture. Dust everyqhere in the room. Chairs and windows outside covered in bird's poo. Vlinds broken in 3 bedrooms and no one came to change them in 4 days! Location is in the middle of nowhere. Overall hugely disapointing.

Très bel endroit composé d'un ensemble de rorbuer traditionnels sur une île de Svolvaer. Au milieu de l'eau, un cadre idéal pour immortaliser en hiver les aurores boréales. Les logements offrent un bon cadre idéal si vous désirez y rester quelques jours pour explorer les Lofoten. Bien équipé pour faire la cuisine, vous avez également la possibilité d'un bon petit-déjeuner copieux dans le restaurant situé dans le bâtiment de réception. Un très bon choix pour loger dans les Lofoten.

羅弗敦第一天就來這邊住，後悔沒有選擇多住幾晚，房間大而且在陽台就能欣賞極光，餐廳更是超級美味，每一樣餐點、咖啡和果汁都超讚
