“A wonderful hotel with serene green spaces in a royal atmosphere. I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation.”

“This was a lovely old property. The staff were welcoming, and friendly. The room was a little tired, but had everything I needed for my stay. The shower was over the bath, not a problem for me, but could be for someone else. The bath had bits of fluff in, so not the cleanest, on the whole though, the room, and amenities were clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The restaurant is in the pub/bar, such a beautiful old place, with lots of characteristics, a pleasant atmosphere. There...

“The room was very clean and well appointed. The only drawback was that there was no lounge for seating. If you didn’t want to sit in your room, which was small but adequate, you had to go to the restaurant. This was not ideal for travellers spending several days there. The restaurant and staff were very good. The food delicious and well prepared. Parking was fine, there was plenty for residents. I must give a shout out to the staff we encountered at the Ely. They were exceptional, especially...
