“It's okay if it's only for a night but not for more. It's located in a service area and there is a lack of services (for example bar, gym or proper breakfast). Despite all, staff is very nice and helpful. ”

The spa facilities were good, with the pool, sauna and steam room adding to the enjoyment, though the lockers could use attention. The second day was less relaxing, as a large event caused corridor noise late into the evening. “Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“The room at the hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were amazing but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. We were advised to book for what was described as a carvery type meal which we did but could only get one slot at 6.30 so booed that. We decided as there was such a long wait to go to the Knights tavern for a drink first and we saw the food being served and it looked really good so we asked if we could cancel the buffet and order there which we did and paid for the meal....

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“The staff went above and beyond for our group and I am so very grateful. We even managed to get an early check in which saved the day. The property is incredibly beautiful and everything was clean and efficient, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Would absolutely stay here again.”
