Vacations Close To Toronto Metropolitan University

Good location. Most staff were very friendly & helpful. One woman at front desk was grouchy & rude. Rooms were clean but public places were not, like hall carpets, ice machine area, etc. Elevators missing ceiling panels. Continental breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels. It didn't offer any meat. Trash not emptied & every day someone (a child?) kept opening butter containers & squashing boiled eggs & muffins in the front of serving cases. Salt & pepper packets stuck together bcz people dripped syrup on them; should have been in different location on breakfast bar. Always out of bananas .

Room option didn’t come up while booking so I got a smoking room. It was terrible. There was no ventilation, the exhaust fan didnt work. And the hotel staff were not helpful at all. They didn’t let us switch to a non smoking room. We experienced chest congestion due to the smell.
