Charming and historic inn with beautiful mountain grounds. Close to attractions like Fallingwater and Ohiopyle for river rafting. Staff was friendly, nice amenities, beautiful outdoor pool deck with a nice hot tub.

A very pleasant, if brief, stay. Charming ambience and terrific views all around. A great on-site restaurant. Spacious verandas for watching sunsets in an adirondack or rocking chair, perhaps with refreshment in hand. Our king-sized bed was very firm, and there was terrific water pressure for a nice shower (seemingly a rarity in modern hotels, from our personal experience). You can feel the history of the place, but you're never lacking for amenities that you'd expect from a nice modern establishment,

Really cool, old hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was really good, and the bed was comfortable! The room was a little dated, and didn't have outlets on both sides of the bed, and I also wished it had a mini fridge and microwave, but overall it was an enjoyable stay and we'd go back!

The views are breathtaking. The room is a little dated but it is a historical setting so I get that. Restaurant is a little overpriced so we went elsewhere for dinner but had an excellent breakfast the next morning.

This is a very cool historic Inn with character and amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly. The amenities and common spaces make the place - historic and full of character. The two pools, outdoor hot tub, veranda with massive view, and lobby with fireplace ooze charm. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. The rooms are modest and not the “show” here - but you wouldn’t want to sit in your room anyway. We’ll be back!

I can't say enough nice things about The Summit Inn. Our stay was wonderful. The view was amazing and the sunset from the veranda was breathtaking. If you get the chance to stay here I highly recommend it.

It is a classic, historical structure. The outdoor deck is a great place to watch sunset while gathering with other guests. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi / hot tub. I enjoyed walking through the lobby area reading about the history of the Hotel, very interesting. The room was very comfortable. I would have given a 5 star except for the bathroom vanity. We had a unit with a pedestal sink. I believe they keep these sinks to enhance the historical feel but in today's world people need counter space to place toiletries, especially women. As a developer our bath had plenty of room for a 36 (or larger) vanity. This along with a few more hooks in the bath for wet towels etc... would have made the stay so much more enjoyable. I write this review more for Summit Management than for the consumer. They do so many things great, please correct this. Also, to the general public, do not let this cause you not to stay there. It's a beautiful place and please go and enjoy.
