I can't say enough nice things about The Summit Inn. Our stay was wonderful. The view was amazing and the sunset from the veranda was breathtaking. If you get the chance to stay here I highly recommend it.

The Summit is a historic hotel and well worth the visit. We had an excellent lunch on the veranda and a very good breakfast in the dining room. I would highly recommend this hotel for visitors of the area.

The Summit is a 1906 grand hotel with all the trimmings associated with a historic bld. If your thing is hanging around the grand lobby, sitting in front of the fireplace chatting with other guests, this place is for you. The rooms are what you would expect in an historic Inn. The rooms meet the needs, but the lobby, bar and restaurant is the place to hang out and soak up the beautiful architecture. Id return for a longer stay.
