We spent just a night there and did not use the hot tub, but the water was warm and waiting for us. Cabin is large, with big fridge, but bathroom is small - I guess this was the design many years ago. Almost no staff is present. Reception does not exist so make sure you get your cabin number when you reserve it. We were fortunate to find someone in the laundry room since no cabin was assigned to us, and the guy was really nice and found it on his app.

We booked the robinhood suite as a last second getaway. we could not be more pleased with everything. the suite and backyard/grounds were one of a kind. the hot tub was hot and clean. the complimentary kayaks were a great touch. the bar and grill across the street had live music and was a great time. highly recommend 2 margaritas a mile or so down the road for great mexican food and drinks with great outdoor seating. We will be back!!!

I enjoyed the space. There was plenty of room for me and all 6 of my kids. The outdoor space where the fire pits are was very well kept, and the shared space around there, my kids really enjoyed it. I did not like that it seemed very outdated. The TV in the living room would not work, and the lights in the living room did not work. The shower upstairs had I think black mold on the bottom of the shower in the corners. And the parking spot had ivy that was over grown and the bush next to it had so many bees I had to park in a different spot. When I tried to message on the app to the staff, I never received a message back. It did get really hot through out the cabin, there wasn't much air flow in there.

The cabin we stayed in is basically a tiny home and it is quite uneven, the furnishings are extremely warn and nope in taking the cover off the water was so cloudy we passed. No host on sight either. The greatest thing about this place is the location and history now, i needs the care it deserves.

Idyllic stay in Washington

A beautiful town, with lovely lake and Olympic Mountains view. Super friendly people everywhere, so quiet and peaceful. Cabin was adorable, exceptionally clean, with everything one needs. The private hot tub and seating areas at the cabin, complete with lovely ambiance lights, was so fabulous.

The Robinhood Village Resort was a sweet find for us, when exploring a last minute option. It was fun staying in one of the original little 90 yr old cabins. Nice wooded setting with a creek & walking path located across the road from the Sound & their kayak use area. It was quiet there on a Monday night. And having a private hottub was very relaxing remedy after a long driving day. I like the more remote location in Union.

No staff there for check in! And you guess which cabin to stay in. We finally figure out after 10 mins and should be the same picture as it showed on the hotel.com ad. The outside looks nice. Inside the cabin it is dated but we love the bed and to my surprise, the hot water runs really well. We made dinner there too as there was no restaurant nearby. So be prepared if you needa stay here for a nite. Also a bonus point is you get to use their kayaking across the road. Very relaxing.

We found out after the fact from other hotels nearby that this place is notorious for leaving people out to dry when it comes to arrival and check in. Nobody is at the property. We arrived at midnight and wasted an hour stumbling around in the dark looking for some unnamed cabin with a key in it. Every door locked. Knocked on every public door possible and found no one. Ended up going down the street to the Super 8 and checking in there where they said this is a common problem with the Robin Hood property. They even left a wedding out to dry and had the entire party seeking alternative accommodations since they failed spectacularly on getting people checked in. When I alerted other locals of the problem they all immediately guessed that the problem was Robin hood. This place is a joke. Four phone numbers and no one answers any messages. Still no contact from them despite repeated messages. And they sent me a note saying how lovely my stay was and how great it was to have me as a guest and would I please leave them a good review. Or in lieu of leaving a good review, message them back on that number and explain what the problem was. I had used that exact number the night before to ask for assistance several times. No response. Automatically sent email. This place just sucks.

We’ve stayed here before and absolutely love the location, the hot tubs, and the vibe. We will return, but there is definitely some room for improvement. 1. The linens bag for the futon was missing a sheet. Just one sheet in the bag. 2. Behind the futon is gross, dirty with trash still there. 3. Microwave had a plate of chicken from previous guests. Still there. 4. Mold at the base of the shower is out of control. 5. They are not onsite and have a chat system on Expedia to message, but they never replied to our inquiry about the WiFi password. 6. Shower head is clogged, and sprays all over the place. Easy to fix with a quick vinegar dip. 7. Futon was incredibly uncomfortable. Worse than most futons. Next time I’ll rent the two bed unit for sure. Positives: 1. The quality of the coffee for the coffee maker was insane. Really great choice for a small family owned roaster. 2. Amenities are great and high quality as well. 3. Love love love these hot tubs. These are the round blow up ones, they don’t have fancy chairs or massage jets—just a deep bowl. Deep, simple and hot. I’m thinking of buying one! 4. Love the grounds—very well kept up. We will return, as it’s still a great place. But the lack of any reply to our previous note about the WiFi, the lack of detail on the cleaning, and the maintenance issues are something you should really work on improving. Easy stuff to fix. May I suggest providing a number to text if you aren’t watching the Expedia chat?
