“If you are looking for a hotel outside the usual chains, this is a great choice. We stayed for one night with my daughter and it was overall excellent. The hotel is the only one in town, it is on Main street. The town is small but the surroundings are beautiful, rolling hills, forests and lakes. The courtyard and lobby were welcoming and nicely decorated, the staff very helpful- the evening desk manager gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Frank's place a few minutes away. “When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card. Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...

“We were extremely pleased with the room and accommodations. The complimentary snacks, juice and water were a very pleasant surprise. Coffee was also available however we didn’t use that service. I have absolutely no doubt that we will stay at the Camelot again when we are in town!!”
