Wonderful stay. Kind staff at breakfast and dinner, all were amazing. Check in had a few blips with the system picking up the wrong number of people and the wrong room but was quickly fixed. One point I would make is it’s incredibly difficult to find the hotels parking - no signposting meant we went into another much more expensive parking lot. I would definitely stay again, the staff and cleanliness make it a no brainer.

I used to use the Hilton in central Durban it now that’s switched hands I come to this one instead. Very safe to walk to the beach one mile away Walkable to the gateway shopping mall (700 meters). Staff excellent and very helpful. Lovely little well Maintained gym and outdoor pool area. Undercover parking for less than a few USD per night. Happy hour each night for three hours and awesome TV in room with loads and loads of domestic and international channels. Definitely well worth the money.

Booked online through Expedia and process was seamless. Enjoyed an excellent 8 day stay here over the Comrades marathon week. Hotel staff could not have done more to help. Secure parking is on site undercover for a couple of US$ a day. It is about 20 minute drive from the airport and about another 20 minutes to downtown Durban. We were allowed to check in early after travelling for 24 hours and were given a lovely sea facing room. The breakfast was amazing and in dining options are great. Special kudos to Vanessa who really has the dining area working well. Super friendly and customer focused! The security at the front door is one of the friendliest guys you can meet. The area is walkable to Gateway shopping mall and the beach (both of which we did numerous times in our stay without any safety issues - obviously be careful not to walk at night and don’t flash cash or jewellery. There is a lovely Baron pub 100 meters out the front door (think a sports bar with amazing food and incredible service) and a Butcher Block steak house over the road. Great heated pool and gym on site. 10 out of 10 - definitely stay there again.
