Nice hotel in city centre

Lovely ambience, great room. Cool design. We had a nice view of park and river. Bed was comfortable. Only con is they had ambient lighting in the windows. Obviously thought out by som architect to make it look cool from outside, not thinking about people sleePing in room. We got some plates to cover them second night. Worked. But they really should install a switch so guests can turn off

Frokosten klarte dem ikke å fylle opp . Så måtte vente før juice , kaffe og annet varm måltid. Tv signalene fungerte ikke på rommet, og vi var sikker bare uheldig men det dryppet fra tak pga kondens på rommet sikkert pga av varme . De glemte vaske tue etter rengjøring . Veldig fint hotell hyggelige resepsjonister . Men dessverre mer minus enn pluss

Hett i sommar

Jättemysigt hotell med trevlig personal. Vi kom till hotellet när det har varit 30+ grader i nästan 2 veckor i sträck så rummet som vätter mot kyrkan/vattnet är kokhett när vi kommer. Vi får en bordsfläkt så det går att sova ganska behagligt iaf. I övrigt ett jättefint och mysigt hotell.

Trevligt och bra läge men väldigt stökig frukost

Trevliga rum men dom börjar bli lite slitna. Bra läge i centrum, men vill du njuta av en avslappnad frukost - bo inte där. Stora hotellet har gemensam frukost med hotell u&me (de var tidigare separat). Gästerna till stora hotellet kan gå på frukost när som helst, men gästerna till u&me ska gå på timeslots. Det är ingen kontroll av vem som faktiskt är på frukosten (i teorin kan vem som helst gå in från gatan när biblioteket är öppet). Systemet funkar inte, frukosten är kaos och receptionen menar att dom "arbetar med problemet" men att de använt denna lösning länge nu.....borden torkas inte av utan är kladdiga oavsett vilken tid du går (med undantag borden på Gotthards), hälften av platserna på innertorget är barstolar eller loungeplatser med soffbord. Det är spring överallt och personalen verkar underbemannad. Ljudnivån är hög. Pga frukosten kommer vi i framtiden välja bort både u&me och stora hotellet.

Extra plus för restaturangen.

Fina rum och maten i restaturangen Gotthards krog var fantastisk. Frukosten däremot serverades på inomhustorget, där var det väldigt stökigt!

Perfekt läge, trevligt hotell

Perfekt läge i centrala Umeå, med utsikt över älven och Teg. Mycket trevlig och rustik design på hotellet, med många kreativa idéer. Frukostmiljön var tyvärr rörig med allting utspritt så att det var svårt att hitta en lugn sittplats - det var folk överallt på väg mellan stationerna. Saknade även vattenkokare/kaffebryggare på rummet. Tv-signalen laggade också hela tiden.

Bra hotell til den prisen, hyggelig personell. Bra frokost😀. Kunne vært en vannkoker og minibar på rommet så hadde det vært utmerket 😀😀. Også en fordel om vindu på rommet kunne åpnes. Men, anbefaler så absolutt dette til andre som vil besøke Umeå. Beliggenhet helt Max, og garasje i kjeller var et stort pluss👍

Som alltid bra service o ljuvliga rum. Sköna sängar o cool marin inredning. (Men hotell överlag verkar ha svårt för känna till sina rum, vilka siffror som ligger åt gata eller innergård etc. Nåt som man tom som gäst lär sej.. ) Bra o god frukost o serviceinriktad reception! ( kan sakna pannkakor i stället för en oändlig våffelkö )
