“What a suprise , I don’t think the this hotel was advertised well enough, a beautiful property in large well maintained grounds, friendly , polite staff, good breakfast and so clean, nowhere was overlooked, I will recommend and definitely come again.”

“While we liked the theme of the pub, and the staff were friendly, the stay was let down by a poor nights sleep due to very thin walls and chatter in the pub past 11pm (despite the pub closing at 10). I did complain, and the noise did stop after some time, but it took a significant amount of time to get to sleep even after that. The pillows were also not to our preference, being extremely soft, but we didn’t raise this with staff (as we only stayed one night) so we don’t know if there were any...

“We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...

“Room was totally fine. Bed was comfy. Given tea and coffee. I brought my own little lamp as the only light is the main one. Toilets and shower are external and pretty run of the mill. Nice selection of beers and ales in the pub. Breakfast was nice”

“Precioso hotel, solitario, aunque cerca de sitios por visitar y de las carreteras principales. Si quieres dejar el coche ahí, tienes que cenar en el hotel, porque no hay nada más en las inmediaciones como para ir caminando. ”

“We stayed for two nights in the Marrakesh suite and loved it. A huge comfy bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, lots of storage and a large TV. Upstairs is a large jacuzzi bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. The host, Debbie was fantastic, she always seemed to be on duty and was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and could be taken in the dining room or in your suite.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the North York Moors National Park. The room was very clean, the linen of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities worked. The rooms are above the pub so there was some chatter and music. This wasn’t a problem for me. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
