Ate in the restaurant where the food was great. Rate included a continental breakfast which was all we needed, but there is hot options if you wish. Great one night stop over.”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. “Had a lovely stay here the room was fabulous the bed was so comfy we stayed in the wild horse room it had a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower and the toilet was separated from the bathroom the staff are friendly and nothings to much trouble Great little touches like fresh milk and homemade cookies which were delicious ”
