Perfect hotel a bit outside Nagano

What this hotel lacks in location is fully compensated and more by the excellent hospitality, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, delicious food (we had half board) and very nice onsen facilities. I have stayed in many hotels in Japan and all over and Seifuen hotel staff really is exceptional. We stayed three nights while visiting near-by ski resorts during the day and coming back just in time for dinner. The location is a bit away from everything but the shuttle bus service to Tokuga Station and back makes the location ok just 20min from Nagano and Ueda. The dinners were amazing delicacies set beautifully and ready at the time of our reservation time. Onsen facilities are very nice and the water quality excellent. Outside onsen had a beautiful architecture which we appreciated. I truly recommend this hotel if staying around Nagano

最高の温泉の一つです。

温泉は、最高でした。夕食、朝食も最高でした。新幹線で上田下車後、ローカル線で戸倉で降りるのですが、接続は、比較的にスムーズでした。帰りは、駅まで送ってくれました。新幹線が長野を通るまでは、たいへん栄えた温泉街であり、今も変わらない趣きがありました。

部屋は広くてよかったですが、使ってない部屋だったのか、ホコリが気になりました。浴衣とタオルが用意してあったタオルには木のクズがついていました。庭園にある足湯は汚かったです。あの汚さであれば、足湯は利用できないようにしたほうがいいと思います。

丁寧な接客を体験できる

敷地外駐車場までお出迎えから即荷物を預かっていただき、ウェルカムドリンクの後部屋へ案内。 終始大変丁寧な接客をしていただけます。 食事は朝夕ともに少しずつですが品数多く、お腹いっぱいとてもおいしくいただきました。 素晴らしい宿だと思います。 機会があればまた利用したいです。

総合的には良いですが...

総合的な印象の評価としては5のうち4です。トイレの便器内の黒ずみ、洗面台の水のつまり、浴衣から男性の加齢臭がした、温泉内で、係の女性が何回もシャンプーなどの補充に来た。着替え途中にもチラチラ視線を感じとても不快でした。そのほかは良いです。
