“Lake view room was 5 *, the view from the bath at sunset was beauitful, possibly the best room we have had on our travels in India, the guy who greeted us was very polite and helpful, however the staff we served us our evening mral in restaurant reduced this from 5 star to 4 star.”

“We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. “Hands down the best hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world, and I've travelled a decent bit. The hotel is amazing, like something out of a fairy tale. Every thing is exquisite. The hospitality is out of this world; lovely staff all around, who go out of their way to make everything as convenient as possible, with the lightest touch. Definitely coming back.”

“Pros-Hotel in Lal Ghat area close to city palace entrance. Ethereal feel to this hotel. Lovely clean rooms, reception arranged late check out very helpful. Rooftop pool very nice. Great courtyard ambience in this boutique hotel, with lots of books doted around.
Cons-lots of steps to access hotel, once inside lifts available. Probably not good if you have mobility difficulties”

“Para ser un antiguo palacio la habitación es muy sencilla los baños antiguos la iluminación de fluorescentes no es la que deseas en un lugar tan emblemático.
En cuanto a la recepción es muy pequeña y el recibimiento fue friocarece de la calidez de otros hoteles de su misma calidad ”

“I left very early in the morning but they made me a packed breakfast which was substantial. I forgot when I booked to ask for something on the ground level because using the stairs was an awesome task for somebody who is not very good with climbing.”

“Only half the rooms had access via elevator. I had no elevator to my room and that also I found out after the room was assigned. Had I known that I would not have stayed there. Was strange building with really narrow tight corridors with stairs. Room rent should not have been more than 1000 Rs!”
