Great staff! Very clean room. In its day, this place must have been spectacular. It is now showing its age with abandoned rooms and areas, peeling paint etc. Beautifully landscaped. A wonderfully explorable property...We spent a week finding all of the nooks and crannies of the place...Delightful! Well located. Walkable into town (not using the main road). Do not eat raw vegetables in Bali!

It is an amazing Hotel with a delicious breakfast and very friendly and kind staff. The hotel has a transport service to Ubud center 3 times per day for free. If you need a hotel in Ubud, stay in the Mansion Resort Hotel and Spa. It was wonderful!!

Great stay

Amazing hotel and outdoors area, very impressive. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant looked very nice, the food was okay. The spa treatment was incredible. It was a bit of miscommunication when it came to being picked up by the shuttle bus from the hotel, had to wait 1,5 hours. I would have expected more from a hotel of this class.

The property is stunningly beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and non-intrusive. Bali is a hot climate and the air conditioning in the room worked well, the hot water for the shower did not work so well, there is no air conditioning in the lobby/restaurant area but there are a few cooling fans. The hotel has six boutique size swimming pools, absolutely marvellous. The food in the restaurant is quite good, the included breakfasts are very good, way better than what has become standard in North America.

Elegant rooms in an expansive compound

Lovely, elegant room, with a bath/shower, which I appreciated. One stepped out to a small childrens' pool which seemed never to be used. There were 6 pools in all, in the midst of verdant tropical vegetation, and exotic paraphernalia. At times it felt like one was staying in an abandoned film set. Think Howard Hughes.
