I really enjoyed our recent stay at Sthala. The staff were amazing and kept on asking for feedback in order to improve their service which would be hard to do. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was extremely generous and tasty.

Upon our arrival, we were told that our room was on the 2nd floor and was recommended to upgrade to a superior room with a river view. We did; however, it was on the 5th floor directly in front of a swimming pool. The entire room, pillows, bed linen and blanket was very musty, mildew smell. Other guest said their room was the same. We switched to a room on the 6th floor at the end unit, which was better.

There is not anything I would fault with the hotel. The staff are so attentive. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and has a really good selection of everything. The evening dining options are also good. The location and shuttle into Ubud is a great addition. Just a fantastic tranquil location and hotel

Only higher floor rooms offer a view of outside ,otherwise lower floor rooms feels claustophobic . It is a reasonable property ,nothing special to mention about . Food / restuarant was good though . It is also not walkable to ubud market & there is very limited transportation available if one wants to visit the market

Fantastic place to stay in Ubud. The views of the river are great, the rooms are well equipped and clean, and the food was excellent. But what really impressed was the friendliness of the staff, who could not do enough to help. Would definitely stay again.

We had few issues when we checked in. But the Manager Adi made the stay comfortable for us and sorted out all the issues we had. The issue is the building works happening next door is a little downside at the moment but Hotel Management trying really hard to maintain the brand reputation.
