Our stay at Sankara Resort & Spa Ubud was absolutely beautiful. The property itself is stunning, and they offer so many thoughtful amenities that make the experience feel special. The nightly activities and shows were a huge bonus and something we really enjoyed. The food and room service were both very good, and the spa was incredible—honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Overall, such a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience at Sankara Resort. Everything was so clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Ambience was very beautiful and peaceful. Surroundings was very romantic and calm, I have no complain with this resort or the staff. I have tried food at their restaurant and the fruits were so sweet and coconut water was worth of having. one of the staff member helped us for capturing photos, and making our stay more memorable . We had a wonderful stay at Sankara Resort. The room was big, clean, and very spacious, which made it super comfortable and relaxing. We absolutely loved our private pool. It was such a nice touch and made the experience feel extra special. The free breakfast every morning was delicious, with plenty of options and great quality. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and kind, and they truly made us feel at home. The only thing that could be improved is adding a door to the bathroom for a little more privacy. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend Sankara Resort if you’re looking for a relaxing stay with great service!

My husband and I just came here for our honeymoon and we loved the location (how we really felt in the culture) the property was just okay for us, we thought more would come included (especially the food). Being a resort you would think the portions would be a bit bigger but every time we ate there we were either still really hungry or had to spend $700.000 rp. I personally also didn’t like the restaurant food (lack of flavor/seasoning)… since it was our honeymoon I booked two surprises 1) floating pool breakfast 2) private dinner BOTH I wish I didn’t spend the money on. The breakfast were items you got off of the regular menu and the “5 course dinner” was disappointing, the only real food we received during that experience was the main course (which again we could have just had dinner at a near by restaurant for cheaper). However, the staff was really nice and the place was clean! Do not expect the same type of room cleaning you would get at a hotel, they don’t exchange out your bedding/towels unless you tell them too. Also save your money with the Transportation they offer (use the free shuttle to Ubud), download grab or gojeck instead. We would stay here again, but we would do a couple of small things differently like food and travel.
