The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the one bedrooms villa with private pool - it was stunning! Amazing views across the rice fields, and the bathroom was also magical as was listening to the wildlife at night.
We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant reasonably priced and very tasty
The staff was exceptionally good. Hotel staff here are usually very good but this was another level.
Rooms was a little small but very nice and cozy.
We rented a motorbike so it was easy to travel around the Ubud area.
We absolutely loved our stay at Madani! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The villa was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely view of the rice fields. Believe them when they say you are staying amongst nature. For us it was awesome seeing frogs and lizards around or hearing how alive the rice fields become at night with creatures but that may not be every guest's cup of tea. This will be one of our favorite places we've stayed for a very long time. I wish we could have stayed longer in this paradise!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Coozy nice room with lots of privacy. It’s like having your own house while you are on vacation. Staff are super nice and friendly and always serve with a smile.
I love this place so much. The staff is so sweet. I celebrated my birthday and they surprised me with a delicious red velvet cake. Breakfast was so good and filling. Plus this place is very instragammable! But most especially, the staff is so sweet, nice, responsive, and quick to heed requests! I would definitely go back!
OMFG... I absolutely LOVED this place. Of course the staff were soooo amazing and this place has it all. The infinity private pool, the rice fields... the fire flys at night were mesmerising... the food was fabulous... it was quiet, clean, easy access... even had to turn the air-conditioning down as it got cold... I could go on and on...
LOVE LOVE LOVE
No wonder they are booked out!
The worse thing about this place was that I had to leave!
On recommande fortement
The individual villas are beautiful and entirely made from antique wood which gives them a cosy feeling. Be aware however that outside sounds can easily enter and there is little distance between the villas So if you are sound sensitive: bring earplugs.
Amazing views from the pool! Love the location though wasn’t aware it was 5 mins from reception so room service has to be driven up the road. Scooter rental and all other requests were just a phone call away. Would recommend for couples.
Our Madani stay couldn't have been any better! From arrival to departure, the staff was so warm and accommodating in any of our wishes, we felt like we were part of the family. We booked the private villa in the rice terraces and the room and views are outstanding, I highly recommend booking this room - it is so peaceful! With our stay, we booked a last-minute couples massage and the staff was so quick to accommodate and have the massage therapists come to our villa for our massage, facial and body scrubs poolside, which is a must when you stay here!! On one of our rides to our villa we were telling Mrs. Madani how we discovered and loved Mangosteens, the next day at checkout she had 2 bags of Mangosteens for our flight home, I have never experienced such hospitality. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ubud and will always stay with Madani!
Great friendly staff, excellent food, clean beautiful traditional style villa, beautiful garden, great day trip taxi service, good location with free shuttle service to Ubud centre.
My husband and I stayed in three different bungalow hotels during our trip to Bali and Madani Antique Villas was by far the most magical experience we had. It was truly shocking how perfect and serene the property is. Madani, a boutique hotel located in the middle of lush green and peaceful rice fields, is very close to Ubud center; it is very easy to get to the city via the hotel's free shuttle service. You can also easily explore the surrounding area and nearby tourist attractions with the daily scooter rental service.
The following three reasons are why I recommend staying here over any other option if you are visiting Ubud. 1) A diverse breakfast menu. We stayed at Madani for 4 days and had a different breakfast option every morning. 2) An amazing and extremely accommodating staff. Some of my clothes in my luggage accidentally got dirty during our last night at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to clean my clothes and deliver them to my next hotel destination in Ubud. 3) An insanely romantic and blissful bathroom experience. Imagine, after a long and tiring flight, being welcomed by a tub filled with fresh flowers, in a partially roofless bathroom that is located outside of your bungalow. My husband and I were able to enjoy a relaxing flower bath under the starry night sky. Talk about a surreal movie-esque experience.
We stayed in the Jungle Villa with private pool .... soooo beautiful, quiet and private and the view from our bed was priceless. The owner, Made, is a beautiful soul, nothing was ever too much trouble for her ... when I was unwell drove me to the chemist in the village and came in with me to make sure I was given the correct medication ... she is everyone's mum. Would definitely stay again.
This is a fantastic place to stay. The owner, Made, is as nice of a person as you will ever meet. She made sure our stay there was as great as could be. The villa was clean and very well kept. The pool was very relaxing and so are the views. The staff is very helpful with everything, even with helping to coordinate outings that are not connected to their business.
