excellent stay at Gayatri. The place is tucked away from the crowded Monkey street and is a haven of quiet and peace. The architecture stands out as does the breakfast. The sumptuous colorful breakfast is tasty, full of fresh local ingredients - a significant highlight of Gayatri, The staff is friendly, helpful and very responsive. Their on site taxi service is a boon and we booked them last minute a couple of times. Will recommend Gayatri without any hesitation and look forward to coming back again sometime!

My husband and I stayed at Gayatri for 4 nights and it was the perfect tranquil, luxurious hotel. We highly recommend it for many reasons: The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were polite and helpful. The location was ideal. Although tucked down a side street it is a central location with shops, bars and restaurants minutes away. The monkey forest sanctuary only 15 minute walk way. The rooms were clean, luxurious and we had big fridge that was great for storing extra drinks etc. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious. When we arrived my husband who is a meat eater was disappointed by the vegetarian breakfast but the amount we were served was generous and we bith agreed the high standard and presentation was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was served to your meal at your required time and we were never disappointed. If you are offered the free yoga session you should attend. The teacher was brilliant and we both enjoyed this. My husband has always been reluctant to do yoga came away having enjoyed the session. We would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful resort with a very traditional bali style. The rooms are spacious and even had a massive TV. Bathroom spacious with shower gel, shower caps etc in abundance. A really thoughtful touch is a water dispenser in the room which provided hot and cold drinking water. Tea and coffee facilities available. Clean pool, beautifully kept grounds. Standout was the full vegetarian menu with some very innovative cooking, plus fresh juices, and fresh fruit. The resort is down a little lane which is opposite the Ibu Rai restaurant (very nice) so can be a little hard to find. But once your settled you are very close to the main road giving access to Ubud town centre and walking distance to shops, restaurants, art market and monkey forest. The AC worked well, the staff were polite and friendly at all times and would definitely recommend a stay here.

I would highly recommend staying at The Gayatri, the location is the best, in the middle of everything however it was also very quiet and peaceful. Gayatri is my favourite place to stay in Ubud, in Bali really. The staff are amazing and make it feel like home. The breakfast is the absolute best. Will always come back to here every time I come to Bali.

Gayatri is located in central Ubud. It’s within walking distance to Monkey forest, Ubud palace and many other attractions in Ubud. The property is huge with many banana trees and avocado trees. They also have a Shala and offers free yoga classes twice a week. The breakfast menu is out of the world with many options for drinks both hot and cold and Vega dishes. We stayed on the fourth floor with a view of Ubud , the property and the mountains in the distance. They offered to serve breakfast on our veranda. The staffs brought our breakfast to us every morning. All of the staff were amazing! We had a wonderful time staying at Gayatri Hotel. We highly recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Ubud.
