Room was clean, lighting pretty bad but that is okay. Villa is beautiful, koi pond near entrance, pool was amazing and staff was really kind. I would just update how we are able to contact the staff but overall the stay was good. To get in to the villa I didn’t appreciate the area, many bugs on the door & looks like it’s connected to other villas so very important to lock the bedroom doors. I would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet beautiful area near rice terraces and close to night life.

Amazing rooms with private pool (4 of us stayed as a family so we had the room upstairs and the other downstairs. Service was great. Food brought to us was tasty and reasonable. Away a little bit from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. They do have a free shuttle service if you want to go into town.

Smelly bedding as if it wasn’t changed after check out. There was no gate in my villa, and multiple people just walked into my villa. First, to turn on the pool machine, second, to set up a breakfast, third, to set up an offering, fourth, to turn on the outdoor light, fifth, to clean my room. I had to ask them not to disturb me for my privacy. Gojek cannot get into the villa due to the local union, you have to walk from a certain point. Nothing is nearby, but the ubud centre is 15 min away by ride. The worst part was a large snake came into my villa. Lucky, i was not swimming in the pool, I couldn’t use the pool after that point.

Excellent attention by the staff, they were always ready to help and to make sure we were ok. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There were a few spiders in the bathroom but I guess thats very difficult to control in Bali. Overall great experience.

Spacious villa not worth the drawbacks.

Staff is friendly and neighbourhood is peaceful. Very remote location. They offer free shuttle once per day, but we encountered problems for the return trip. Bathroom smells badly and is lacking -so many nice bathrooms in Bali and these ones fell very short. Wifi spotty. Villa did not feel private from office and walking path. If you are looking for a large peaceful space off the beaten path, this may be for you. There is a delivery menu for food with ok options. We regret not booking a place in Ubud where we could walk to more establishments. Bring an adaptor to charge devices.

What a wonderful, serene place! We absolutely loved the accommodation and the very friendly, very helpful staff. We didn't want to leave! My two nits would be that it's a little remote. Abud is walkable but it's long (and like all walking in Indonesia) it can be treacherous. The other nit is that although it was a great outdoor kitchen, it's not particularly well equipped, making the prospect of actually preparing meals there a challenge. Nevertheless - we had a great stay and look forward to returning!

A some what pleasant stay

We stayed at Dewi Sri for 8 days recently, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, but I will add that we had construction workers outside our bathroom window and behind the pool wall most of our stay, making it not so private, our bathroom roof leaked after a heavy rain, the cupboards above the outside stove stunk of dirt, breakfast was late and too early a couple of mornings from the times we requested and when the staff served or needed to talk about something they would call outside your room until you came out to greet them which was a bit annoying, sometimes they would take an hour to pick us up from the Ubud centre as well. We would definitely travel around more and not stay in one place for so long next time but we would visit again, the staff were friendly and the hotel offered free shuttle, touring at a cost, private pool, breakfast, to pick up dinner for us and a very clean room to come back to each night.

Beautiful hotel. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was good and fresh everyday. But to get lunch and dinner you either had to cook yourself with little utensils or go into ubud. There was cars to take you in and pick you up. But I felt that it defeated being there. There are a few places that deliver if you look.

Beautiful oasis, amazing staff

Dewi Sri is a wonderful oasis of calm to look forward to after a day of hustle and bustle in Ubud or adventures in the local area. The staff are warm, friendly and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The views of the rice fields from the villa are beautiful and the villas themselves cool and comfortable and well maintained. The main highlight of our stay was the genuine kindness and consideration of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to visiting again.
