We had a very peaceful stay! The place is in a nice secluded location but there is a shuttle to go to and from Central Ubud. The grounds are very calming and there’s a great selection of healthy food that made us feel very refreshed and recharged. We also took a great yoga class at the hotel!

Totally worth it

Stayed here for 6 nights with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. Room was nice, food was delicious, and the staff were very kind. Would definitely revisit.

BeingSattvaa Luxury Ubud is a very nice, clean, quiet (away from the city) resort. Staff (Dewa, Sony, Mona, July to name a few) are amazing, they are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely stay there again whenever we go back to Bali. This place is 100% vegan and we are not vegan but the food are amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay from the morning yoga and the freshly made breakfast, to the wild monkeys that visited in the trees outside our room. The staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The location was a bit away from town but just enough. We were able to enjoy the quiet and peace and grab a quick ride into downtown Ubud for shopping and dining.

Food was divine- always fresh and remarkably tasty. Great selection. Breakfast was also included which was great. Loved the smoothie bowls. It was a vegetarian restaurant. Loved the local Cuisine options at the restaurant and the soups - truly delicious. Super tranquil and beautiful grounds the flora and fauna here are great to see. Loved the frogs and birds and monkeys as the resort is set against the rainforest! The pool is beautiful to swim in. Customer service fantastic and loved how staff were there to pick us up from airport and take us to another hotel when we were done and be our personalised tour guide. All for small fee. We couldn’t have seen Bali easily without their support. Room was lovely very comfy bed and beautiful surrounds. Loved the outdoor shower and toilet etc. Near enough to Ubud town but a bit removed from the hustle of the main streets, which gives the resort a more authentic jungle villa feel. Yoga included every morning at 7am at no extra cost - very good experience and instructors were very good.

I absolutely loved this property. It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I love the natural environment, the beautiful gardens and all the facilities. My villa was exquisite, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and bath, all amenities, including a plunge pool. I also felt welcomed and very cared for by all the staff, including Subba and Renuka. They have truly created a very rare and special retreat site.

Our stay at BeingSattvaa was incredible, and lots of aspects made it a really special stay in Bali. The staff are a great credit to the hotel. We appreciated the effort from everyone to learn our names which made for a really personal experience. They checked in with us every day and we felt reassured by their enquiries about our plans, offers of help and advice on activities and the Ubud area. In particular, Soni, Komang and Dewa went above and beyond during our stay with their honest, personal interactions and were always approachable and knowledgeable. The setting is unbelievably beautiful - difficult to truly capture in the photos! - with excellent facilities. We made use of the pool area, morning yoga, laundry service, and enjoyed excellent treatments in the spa. We were also very impressed with the food. The menu is wide-ranging and high quality. The focus of the hotel around being all-vegetarian, sustainable, authentic and local really resonated with our own values. We would strongly recommend staying here. Thanks again for an unforgettable holiday!

At Being Sattvaa you feel well taken care of without feeling bombarded or pressurized. The staff is discrete,elegant, subtle and efficient. If you need something, they are available but you never feel they are obtrusive. In this respect , they have reached the perfect balance. The atmosphere is heavenly, peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and the design is totally integrated with its surroundings. They have yoga classes every morning which we were not able to take advantage of but plan on enjoying on our next stay. This hotel is top notch, no doubt about it.

An amazing retreat and place to recharge the batteries. I spent a week here, beautiful tranquil setting overlooking jungle and rice paddies. Great accomodation and only minutes from the centre of Ubud. What made the place even more special was the staff from the moment I was met at airport till I was dropped off. Nothing was too much trouble. There attention to detail amazing. Had a birthday during my week there and have such great memories of it thanks to the efforts of all the staff who made it one to remember. Will definately go back.

A beautiful place

The retreat is a beautiful place. All indoor/outdoor, at one with nature. The staff loves to be helpful. Soni and Mona were wonderful. Our huge outdoor bathroom was amazing. The meals were delicious and presented as works of art. Sounds of nature everywhere. Beautiful pool deck. Free shuttle to center of Ubud available.

Forest setting, great villa and staff

The villas are located in an amazing forest setting with an onsite restaurant, yoga studio and swimming pool. Dealing with the staff was an easy experience from enquiring about transport to arranging our meals. Overall, we thought we got good value from our stay and the staff were super helpful when one of us came down ill. The good stuff - Beautifully kept villas (out one had an outside private bathroom) - Friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff - Nice little swimming pool - Good complimentary beginners yoga sessions three times a week - Fantastic vegan/vegetarian menu Things to think about - Location is 20mins out of town (regular complimentary shuttle but staff were flexible with time and location whilst we were there) - Cost about AU$10 to get a taxi to the Villas from the town - No TV in the room (didn't bother me at all)

Jätte trevlig och hjälpsam personal ! Mysigt litet ställe som låg lite utanför .men de hade gratis transport in till ubud. Häftigt när badrummet var helt utomhus.

Felt like a princess!

Service was wonderful here, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food and smoothies were delicious. I really enjoyed my room that had an outdoor bathroom and the lounging by the pool after breakfast. The spa downstairs is fantastic. I really liked that it was out of the way of the main street so that there was peace and quiet. There is a shuttle that will take you into town so you can shop or go to the monkey forest- you won't need much time at either one. I also arranged someone to take me to the closer rice terraces which was neat to see. Wonderful trip, would love to go back!

Paradise

Beingsattvaa vegetarian retreat villa is a paradise on the earth, located in an awsome garden full of exotic colourful flowers. We had a beautiful comfortable villa with a perfect view. Every day in the morning or afternoon we could practice yoga with a qualified teacher. After an individually composed breakfast we had a walk around the rice fields or one of the very nice hotel drivers dropped us to Ubud only 10 min from 'our paradice'. The staff was helpful,always ready to treat us individually espacially with the meals (we have a very special diet). The last day, after checked out we especially experienced Beingsattvaa villa staff kindness. When our driver from outside didn't come to drop us to the airport they imidiatelly organized a perfect driver who dropped us comfortably and very fast to the airport. Thank you so much again!
