Amazing property and what a nice stay!! We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. I brought my child here for a holiday in the Ubud area, and we really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. They also offer vegetarian-friendly food, which was a wonderful addition to our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be very happy to stay again on our next visit to Ubud.

We arrived during the day and from the beginning everyone was already so warm and welcoming. Special mention to Yuni at the reception, she was super helpful and really attentive during our stay. My husband actually got Bali Belly from our previous stay in Seminyak, so when we arrived here he still wasn’t feeling well. I was honestly quite worried, but the team was so caring. They prepared warm drinks, helped us with medication, kept checking on him, and even offered to arrange a doctor if we needed one. Really really thankful because it made us feel like they genuinely cared, not just doing their job. My husband also vegetarian and surprisingly had quite a lot of food options here. The team was very accommodating and they prepared some really nice vegetarian dishes for us, which I really appreciated. The place itself is super peaceful and surrounded by beautiful forest views. Since we came here for our honeymoon, this was exactly the kind of stay we were looking for, quiet, relaxing, and away from the crowded area. It is around 15 minutes away from Ubud town center, so maybe that’s something to consider if you want to go back and forth a lot. But for us it wasn’t really a problem because they have affordable scooter rental and it’s also easy to arrange a taxi. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful place, peaceful atmosphere, but most importantly such a kind and caring team. Definitely one of the things that made our honeymoon in Ubud feel even more special.

Alam Sembuwuk Resort & Alam Puisi Villas

This hotel needs to change their listing. The hotel is split into 2 sides. One is the Alam Sembuwuk Resort $30 - $40 USD per night. This is is on one side of the street. These are traditional hotel rooms and are NOT the Villas. Unfortunately they are not entirely polished. The doors have space for bugs to get in, the wood looks unfinished and they are doing a TON of construction in the back. This part of the property still needs some work. The other side of the street are the Alam Puisi Villas $75 - $125 USD per night. These are really lovely villas. Everything & anything you could want out of a villa. I highly recommend these Villas. The art & the owners "quotes" are all over the hotel. Charming, some are really interesting. The staff are lovely and will do anything and everything to make sure you are happy. They have free breakfast and a free shuttle that will take you to & from the hotel to the center of town. I really liked staying at the Villas, but the hotel side was just ok. All in all, not a bad stay and close enough.

Far away and hard to get transportation

Three star resort and none of the rooms seem to have a great view except facing the tiny pool. It was built only few years ago but seems to have aged fast. It needs upgrading. The pool was not so clean and the food was pricy for the quality. Angel was very helpful but there was some communication problem on the phone, so it is better to book or talk with the reception in person. To Bali costs 400K by taxi and to Ubud 100K. Except for this rates for transportation it is worth coming here.

Lots of mix ups with the bookings ie. breakfast, massages; no towels in the room upon arrival, toilet paper wasn't replaced daily. Most staff were not as nice and welcoming as we had experienced at other hotels. Stair cases were missing railings and very unsafe. Was not a comfortable stay.

Super séjour

Bel emplacement. Personnel très serviable. Piscine très jolie. Propreté pas tout à fait parfaite (mais largement mieux que dans beaucoup d'hôtels de Bali).

The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help you enjoy your stay. The hotel is a bit far out of Ubud center however there are regular shuttles so you can easily explore the Ubud markets and grab dinner. There are rice fields surrounding the property and you can occasionally see the locals working in the fields from the pool. The free morning yoga was really good and a nice way to start the day. The breakfast (and lunch and dinner menu) could be better as there are limited options for vegetarians, however this was only a minor concern. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!!
