Fantastic stay. Everyone was exceedingly kind, and when we arrived very late (near 1AM), someone led us to our room and told us to worry about checking in in the morning. Well maintained clean room and very large bathroom.

The villas had a peaceful and opulent feel, with beautiful natural quiet surroundings. The staff were lovely and did everything needed. Location from the centre of Ubud is a little out, but worth it for the serenity you get that downtown Ubud now no longer has. Great for couples.

I have so much to say about this incredible property! So here is my honest review! Of the three properties I stayed at during this visit to Ubud, this one was surprisingly my favorite and has the potential to be in my top 5 best stays of 135 countries visited! The setting, atmosphere, accommodations, and overall experience made me feel like I was in a literal jungle paradise...Bird and animal sounds that were like music to my ears with a beautiful instagrammable infinity pool to match! You must be lover of nature to enjoy and appreciate because you are sharing the jungle with these wonderful creatures The linens are impeccably clean with 5 star hotel like crispy sheets and duvets! The outdoor bathroom was modern yet rustic with a stone tub that can easily hold 6 people and they made a custom flower bath that was simply stunning! The food was always beautifully presented and delicious and my floating breakfast on the last day was a definite highlight. The property itself exceeded my expectations and ultimately became the standout stay of my entire trip! I sent photos to my friends who all agreed Aksmi would be added to their list of places to stay in Bali! Things for improvement: dont overbook Balcony villas, some staff need hospitality training, low music in the bar/pool area. Overall a SUPERB stay...I did NOT want to leave

First time Bali traveller. I was staying in the Penestanan area, but decided to have a change of scenery and booked here for two nights. Once I arrived, I felt like I was in paradise. Beautiful quiet environment, very well maintained gardens, a comfortable room and a team of friendly and helpful young staff. I extended my stay an extra night as I felt so relaxed and welcome. Not recommended for those who are squeamish about frogs, as they will join you in the bathroom.

A Peaceful Jungle Escape in Ubud 🌿✨ This is a late review from my stay in February 2026, but I still think about how peaceful my time at Aksmi Suits & Villa in Ubud was. I was traveling solo, and from the moment I arrived, I felt so relaxed, safe, and at peace. The villa is exactly the kind of place I was looking for surrounded by nature with that beautiful jungle vibe. It’s serene, quiet, and the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and disconnect from the outside world. The staff truly go above and beyond. They are some of the hardest working and kindest people I’ve met, and they were always willing to accommodate whatever I needed. Whether it was helping arrange a taxi, recommending or organizing a tour guide, or simply making sure I was comfortable, they were always there to help. It was my first time in Ubud, and as a solo traveler, feeling safe was very important to me. I felt completely comfortable during my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The villa is a little outside of the main town, but honestly, I didn’t mind at all. I actually loved being away from the busyness. And when I needed something, delivery services were easy to use. If you’re looking for a peaceful place where you can truly relax, reconnect with yourself, and forget about everything for a little while, I highly recommend Aksmi Suits & Villa. 🌿🤍 I would definitely stay here again!

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well maintained, lush and green. The pool is beautiful and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We booked the family villa as it was advertised to sleep 5 at time of booking (there were 5 of us including 3 teenagers) but when we arrived there was only sleeping space for 4 of us, and it took a while to sort out due to a language barrier. The staff kindly got us an extra single bed to put into one of the rooms. The villa itself was beautiful and quirky with a plunge pool and rice field views as well as a rooftop “treehouse” with hammocks. The villa is quite run down, with peeling paint inside and the locks on the doors are quite fiddly. There seemed to be a big problem with ants in the villa, they got into everything. The bathrooms are open (no ceilings) which meant there was alot of geckos and wildlife coming in at all times. It would have been a better experience if the bathrooms were enclosed. Probably the worst part is that there is a chicken farm directly beside the family villa. The rooster starts crowing at 5am and goes all day. If you’re hoping to sleep in at all, I wouldn’t suggest getting the family villa. It was frustrating. Food menu was ok, not amazing. I think Aksmi would be a nicer experience for single couples, maybe not a family with teenagers. All in all a beautiful place but needs some work here and there.
