“We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub”

“Friendly helpful staff on reception, excellent breakfast, clean and well equipped room (Americans will find it small). Quite a complicated layout of the site which could do with better signage for those arriving after dark.”

“It's okay if it's only for a night but not for more. It's located in a service area and there is a lack of services (for example bar, gym or proper breakfast). Despite all, staff is very nice and helpful. ”

“We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic staff, rooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard, really clean and with lovely touches. Regrettably, the sound proofing is very poor and most movements between and outside rooms and car park, can be heard leading to an interrupted night’s sleep. If we hadn’t stayed before, based on this visit, we wouldn’t stay again but as we had such a good stay the first time, we’d stay again, just not in this particular room.”

“Great stay, staff were very helpful. Beds very comfy. Wish there were more outside tables while the children are “learning to joust” etc And would have been handy if we could have paid cash….another cashless establishment”
