We stay at this hotel routinely when we visit Tyler. We knew that the hotel was in the process of renovating the rooms. They did a great job, as some of the furniture in the rooms needed replacing. Staff here are always very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I had a nice stay and felt completely safe traveling by ourselves. Room was clean, hardwood floors were nice, nothing extra fancy but was perfect for our needs. Staff offered us extra water bottles upon arrival which was a nice touch.

Everything went well and there are options nearby for snacks or meals outside breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, there was a problem with the mix for the waffles. The first one I got came out fine, but when I went for a second, the mix was more watery. Not sure if the mix had the wrong amount of ingredients or failed to mix properly, but there was a distinct contradiction between the first and the second.
