“Everything was better than expected. The kitchen was under renovation, boding well for an even better experience when complete. The pub is popular and lively, with fun, live music performed on the weekend, Truly a gem on Holy Island, with easy access to many must-see sights. The service staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Definitely recommend!”

“The ground floor room was very convenient for access with our dog. The whole place was always kept clean & tidy. Superb cooked breakfast every morning & the evening meals that we had were also excellent. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The bar / pub area had a very good atmosphere, with locals drinking & eating there as well as motel guests. A two minute walk to a great beach. We will definitely return.”

“Awful view from the room. Inn at the bay- awful. Food was poor. The wait over 40 minutes & too many dogs allowed in there. Some of the chairs were so badly marked I wouldn’t sit on them. Small bed in a small room. Wardrobe space was inadequate- couldn’t hang dresses up. Window was dirty. Horrible taps with an otherwise pleasant bathroom- except there was a broken toilet flush, not enough toiletries the bottom strip on the shower screen was disgustingly unclean, although this was sorted when I...
