“El lugar me encanto, la vista expectacular. El personal muy amable. Lo unico que no me gustao es que el balcon no es tan probado como parece, podia ver desde mi balcon al interior del cuarto de mis vecinos. Adicional que pudia escuchar absolutamente todo el los cuartos de al lado y arriba. Al parecer tenian niños corriendo y gritando... encendian el jacuzzi demaciado tarde o a las7 am. Lo cual impide descanzar y relajarse.”

“Spectacular, immaculately maintained historic mansion. Suite (Vermillion) was on the 3rd floor, so pack light and/or have a pack mule Billy goat to carry your belongings. Well worth the climb. Spotlessly clean, historic details, the most comfortable bed and pillows, huge bathroom with Vermillion green tiled shower and massive sink. Huge closet with fridge and microwave and plenty of room to store luggage and coats. Could easily get accustomed to early morning coffee and pastries in the sunroom...

“Our room was immaculately clean, roomy, and with a balcony overlooking Lake Superior. I prefer a hot breakfast to their Scandanavian buffet, but the buffet is well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enthusiastically recommend this lodge.”

“Nice restored mansion with small, but comgortable rooms. Private bathroom & tub/shower combo, with small frig/freezer and coffee maker. A plus was the pot-belly gas stove for warming on cool Duluth mornings & evenings. Overall, very comfortable. Brule Retreat room was up one flight of stairs.”

“Location was ideal, parking was not as it’s extra per night. The unit was very clean except for some hair left on the shower wall. The main door to get in the building was sometimes a challenge to get the keypad to turn on. The view from the room was nice. ”
