Snowboard race

Bed sheets looks used crumpled. No toilet paper and have to call service. Didn't get a good sleep and have to use my sleeping bag as I felt dirty with dirty sheets and don't have a good pillows

I did not like, apart from the reduce size of the room, the very unconfortable mattress, very old furniture (except the fridge, microwave and TV), some dirty corners, the old bathroom (the shower and the WC was ok). Moreover, the wifi did not work, although I asked the receptionist and he told me that the problem was not solve since last week. The receptionist very kind.

I was very unhappy with the information i was told by an expedia agent though chat before arriving at the el dorado motel. I was told the teip was definitely paid for beforehand and i maxe sure it was guaranteed and belived the agent who assisted me. Well, come to find out... yhay was not the case when i got there. ... i was supriaed with the whole amount requested on-site when i was not prepared to pay for. I was very u hapoy about the bad communication and the fact i was charged here and there. To my knowledge ive paid twice. Very unprofessional. Listen i have came to this hotel for many years and alowly it has digressed in many different ways. I couldnt emove how cold the roo. Was and how the wodmow was brokwn and wouldnt ahut and. The dirt and debree under the bed that was neglected f9r god knows how many days. The bed looked liek it had been used a few times before me. It was insain how much this place changed through the years. It has no stucture and no repsect for its guests. It was insane, like how the maintenance on the building that next day started early in the morning around 7am amd no one said a word at check on about how much it wa going to be right above the room i stayed on only. It was like they were bangibg on the roof for hours, all morning until check out. The lady wasnt even available at the front desk until 10 am iy said on the locked door... i was so uncomfortable sonce i got there. Also there is no gift shop or spa .

Updated room: large updated bathroom.snd shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Economical price. Near points of interest. Staff brought hairdryer as there was not one in the room. It worked well. Good towels. Microwave and refrigerator was a plus. The desk was also a plus. Comfortable bed. Warm heater that kept the room comfortable. Friendly personnel. Cons and/or needed areas of improvement: Nowhere to place clothes. No hooks, closet space, or drawers. No half or full mirrors. Nowhere to place makeup or shaving utensils in the bathroom as there was only a larger sink and no hooks/counter space. Shower pressure was very low and water would not get hot. It got slightly warm after running it for 10+ minutes.

We arrived at the property, and it was okay until we entered the room and saw that the white bed was yellow and the sheets were torn. We were then told that they were the “construction worker” sheets and were on there by mistake. The lady was nice but came back with what looked like sheets from another bed. We left after being there for at most five minutes. Do not go to this spot if you’re looking for a place to rest in a clean bed. Reached out by email to request a refund and no response. Do not go here!

It’s a good little motel for not that much money. I was happy with the front desk service and the bed and pillows were pretty good. Safe neighborhood close to stores.

Just don’t do it!

This was something from a David Lynch film. Pulling in you hear dueling banjos echoing from the rooms because the doors are all open with the live-in occupants either loitering on their “porches” smoking and staring or just sitting on their beds, staring and waiting for the inevitable FEDS to topple in. The gal at the desk was super friendly but that’s the o my positive about this place, but 5 minutes of positive interaction does not make up for one second spent in this disgusting place. We paid for 2 nights and dipped after one, knowing the second was nonrefundable. The room was beyond filthy, the bedding/linens were stained and literally falling apart and shredded. Walls so dirty you could see the diets smeared on them. Bathroom so grimy we didn’t even want to use it. I’m sure, well probably, at one time the towels provided were white…alas they are way past their prime and are a hazy shade of grey. My advice would be this: please take the $300 we spent, buy some paint, bleach, Mr. Clean magic erasers and new linens (there’s a Kohls in Sonora) and I bet you will still have enough to buy yourself dinner after the work is finished! Do something though, cuz this place should not be charging more than $50/night…then it would be expected.

The lady at the front desk was accommodating. Maybe we just didnt know what to expect from a motel. If you like hair free, stainfree sheets and towels, bring your own. Smells like cigarette smoked covered of with strong perfume smells. Window on our ground floor bathroom didnt close. The lady was accommodating enough to give us another room and brought "new/clean" sheets and blanket. The heat worked great. Didnt use the shower. The wheelchair room doesnt have a closet or space to hang/put things besides a desk. Maybe motels are just not for us. Thanks anyway

You get what you paid

You get what you paid… maybe a little less. The room is ok and there is microwave, coffee machine and mini fridge,. The heater was working fine and the receptionist is helpful and very polite. However we got a non smoker room that was smelling like a cigarette. The towels also had a very strong smell of cigarette and bathroom floor was dirty. Didn’t expect this kind of basic issues in a motel and the experience was upsetting

cheap but dirty

the trash in the bathroom hadn't been emptied and it looked like there was a used adult diaper in there. I used the bath mat to dry up water in the main room from my boots and the mat came up solid black. the floor was filthy. The walls were paper thin and even though I only shared a room with one other unit I could hear them talking very clearly all night. Somehow there was a road immediately in front of AND behind my unit and traffic went up and down them all night long too. The heater in the room couldn't keep up and the room was cold my whole stay.
