“Lovely and authentic place to stay. It was so nice to wake up to a beautiful view with the sound of a small stream and birds in the background. Comfortable room in an old stone house with lots of character. The breakfast was so tasty with good choice. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the good food was really good — amazing steaks!”

“Lovely boutique hotel with a great location close to the train station. Very well kept and modern. The only downside was the air conditioning in the room not working. After an hour of changing the thermostat when we got to the room it hadn’t lowered at all. We went down to the desk to ask about it and they went onto a laptop to adjust something and said it was fine. An hour later it was still unchanged and uncomfortable but the reception had closed for the evening. We phoned and sent a message...

Very clean and tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The bike room, free laundering of cycling kits and the location of the hotel makes it an ideal location for the cyclist exploring the iconic climbs in the area.”
